Vata Dosha workshop

Or why your mind is fast, your body is tired, and your tea is already cold.

After the basic Ayurveda workshop, many people say something like
“Okay… this actually makes sense. And now I want to understand myself better.”

If that’s where you are, this workshop is for you.

This online workshop is all about Vata dosha. The dosha of movement, creativity, speed, and sometimes chaos. The one that makes you enthusiastic, sensitive, and occasionally forget to eat because you’re busy thinking.

It is recommended if you’ve already joined the Ayurveda Basics workshop, or if you have a basic understanding of Ayurveda and want to go a bit deeper.

What this workshop is about

Vata is responsible for movement in the body and mind. When it’s balanced, it brings creativity, lightness, and inspiration. When it’s out of balance, it often shows up as restlessness, anxiety, poor sleep, dry skin, cold hands and feet, and a nervous system that never really switches off.

In this workshop, we’ll talk about:
what Vata actually is in daily life
how stress and irregular routines increase Vata
typical signs of Vata imbalance in body and mind
simple ways to calm Vata without changing your entire life
what really helps and what usually makes things worse

No theory overload. No dosha shaming. Just practical understanding.

Who this workshop is for

This workshop is especially helpful if you:
feel mentally busy most of the time
have trouble relaxing or sleeping deeply
feel cold, tense, or scattered
are creative but easily overstimulated
recognize yourself in the “always on, often tired” pattern

And yes, many people do.

How we’ll work

This is a 2 hour online workshop with space for explanation, reflection, and questions. You don’t need to prepare anything. You don’t need to take notes if you don’t want to. Listening is enough.

The goal is not to optimize yourself.
The goal is to understand how to support your nervous system better.

Why this workshop comes after the basics

Ayurveda basics give you the overview.
This workshop gives you depth.

Understanding Vata more clearly often explains why certain yoga styles feel good or bad, why routines matter more than motivation, and why slowing down is sometimes the most productive thing you can do.

Practical details

The workshop takes place online via Zoom.
Duration is 2 hours.
It is suitable for beginners who already know the basics of Ayurveda.

Exact date and registration details can be found on the website.

If you feel like this workshop might describe you a little too well, you’re probably right.
