My name is Maria Simak.

I am a certified yoga teacher (500YTT), Ayurvedic practitioner, and a lifelong seeker of balance between structure and soul. My journey began not in a yoga studio, but in the high-paced world of international business and audit, where I still work today as a corporate director.

Despite building a successful career, I always felt a deeper calling toward healing, presence, and embodiment. That calling led me to India, where I immersed myself in traditional yoga and Ayurvedic studies, lived simply, and reconnected with the wisdom of the body and breath.

Long before discovering yoga, I spent ten years practicing Kung Fu, a discipline that taught me focus, resilience, and the profound connection between body and mind. For the past 15 years, yoga has been a central part of my life, and for the last five, I’ve had the privilege of teaching and guiding others on their own journeys.

In addition to my yoga path, I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology and am currently studying alternative medicine in Germany as a Heilpraktikerin. This allows me to bridge ancient wisdom with scientific foundations and offer a truly holistic approach to well-being.

Today, I live what I teach: I balance a demanding professional life with daily practices that keep me grounded, strong, and present. I believe that yoga and Ayurveda are not only for retreats or slow-paced lives; they are powerful tools for anyone navigating stress, responsibility, or leadership, whether you're in a boardroom, raising children, or building something big.

Through my classes, consultations, and content, I help others integrate ancient practices into their modern reality, so they can feel strong, clear, and connected, no matter how full their life is.

A full mental restoration

I had the pleasure of joining Maria’s class, and I can’t recommend it enough. She was incredibly supportive throughout, offering clear and helpful cues that allowed me to deepen my practice. The session felt restorative, leaving me with a great after-feeling. If you're looking for a well-guided, supportive class with just the right amount of challenge, Maria’s classes are definitely worth joining!

A teacher who helps

I’ve never had a teacher be so present—even online. Maria constantly checks how everyone’s doing and gives real-time feedback to improve alignment. I felt like I was in a private class, even though it was on Zoom.

Maria makes yoga accessible

Her online beginner classes are gold. Maria breaks everything down in such a calm, accessible way. For the first time, I actually understood how to practice yoga, not just copy movements.

Every student matters

Even in large classes, Maria pays attention to everyone. She walks around, adjusts gently, and makes sure we’re all safe. I’ve never felt so cared for in a group setting.

Yin class relaxation

Maria’s Yin class felt like bedtime for my soul. She tells stories, not just from yoga philosophy, but from life, that really stay with you. I felt feeling relaxed and somehow more whole.

Such comfortable guidance

What I love most about Maria’s teaching is her focus on alignment and safety. She never lets anyone push past their edge, and she teaches you how to feel strong without risking injury. That’s rare.
